A young boy searching for his football in the world’s worst zoo befriends a lonely tiger, and together they seek a safe place to play amid the dangers of war.

The surprise waiting for the clown doll when he discovers his unique hat is not on his head when he went out of the surprises box!

A child plays innocently with a toy weapon and grows older with it as the game slowly mirrors the violence shaping his world.

A window opens on a child who lives in a war torn area where he longs for his favorite sport football and a moment of normal childhood.

Message to the Flamingo (2028)

In a displacement camp along the coastline, an eight-year-old girl, Nasma, plays a game of hopscotch (Hajla) that becomes a delicate battle for balance until the fleeting image of a flamingo opens a new way forward.

Bio

Tariq Rimawi is an independent Jordanian animation filmmaker and academic based in Qatar. He holds a Master’s degree in Animation from the University of South Wales (2010) and a PhD in Animation from Loughborough University (2014). His films have received more than 30 regional and international awards and have been screened at over 300 film festivals worldwide. In 2016, he founded the Animation Department at the University of Petra in Jordan. He currently serves as Section Head of the Multimedia and Production Studio at the Office for Digital Learning and Online Education at Qatar University.
